Environmental impact…

Coster is committed to improving the environmental impact of our operations and our products. We are committed to progressing our organisation towards a responsible, environmentally sound and sustainable future.

We are involved in several activities that speak to our environmental responsibilities. We use energy and natural resources wisely, minimise waste where practical, and re-use and recycle where it is sensible to do so. For example we:

• have installed recycling practices and facilities in all Coster premises to repurpose cardboard, pallets and white paper products
• already minimize packaging on all our pallets
• are actively researching alternative propellants and their compatibility with a variety of valve products
• regrind sprue used in our moulding process and re-use it to make new products
• use thinner plastic walls in our containers where possible
• use as little plastic as possible where it will not impact the safety and durability of our products
• use biodegradable plastics wherever possible
• assess all environmental factors when considering any new product or process
